We are so proud to share that one of Dooly County High School's outstanding students, Kaleb Green, had the opportunity to visit the Georgia Capitol today! Kaleb represented our school as part of the Chatt-Flint RESA Student Advisory Council, joining other bright young leaders from across the region. During the visit, Kaleb had the chance to observe both the Senate and House of Representatives in action and meet with members of each chamber. These firsthand experiences with our state government provide invaluable insights that complement classroom learning. Today in Dr. Foster's physical science class, our 8th graders explored wave properties using everyday foods! Students conducted various hands-on experiments connecting wave concepts to edible materials. The interactive approach had everyone engaged as they discovered how wave behaviors appear in common items from their kitchen.
