Today was a special day as we honored Ms. Felicia Madison for her 31 years of dedicated service in education and her unwavering commitment to the students, staff, and families of Dooly County Schools. Today, we had the privilege of celebrating an extraordinary educator and leader, Ms. Felicia Madison, as she begins her well-deserved retirement after 31 years of dedicated service to Georgia’s students (29 in Dooly County)! 🌟 International Excellence Recognized! 🌟 Dooly County Schools proudly celebrates Sa’Riya Johnson, an outstanding sixth-grade student at Dooly County Middle School, who was recognized during the Dooly County Board of Education’s June meeting for her remarkable accomplishments. Sa’Riya has earned international recognition by receiving the Distinction Award in the 2026 Lumiere Junior Scholars Essay Contest. Selected from more than 500 essays representing 48 countries, she also received a $750 scholarship toward the Lumiere Junior Research Program—an incredible achievement that highlights her exceptional writing and academic talent.
