🎓 Dooly Legacy - Week 3 🎓
They walked our halls as students. Now they're shaping the future for the next generation.
This week's Dooly Legacy is Ms. Eliza Bryant, middle school counselor and girls basketball coach!
Ms. Bryant is a proud Dooly County graduate who returned home to serve students in TWO roles. In her office, she guides our middle schoolers through challenges, helps them discover their strengths, and supports their emotional growth. On the court, she's teaching teamwork, discipline, and resilience with every practice and game.
Her dual commitment shows what it means to invest in the whole student. 💛

Yesterday, DCHS senior Kaleb Green represented our school at the state capital as part of the Chatt-Flint RESA Student Advisory Council! Despite a busy day at the capital, Kaleb and his fellow students had the opportunity to meet and speak with members of both the House and Senate. We’re proud of Kaleb for being such a great ambassador for our school and engaging with state legislators to share the student perspective. Way to go, Kaleb! 🎓

🎓 Introducing the Dooly Legacy Initiative! 🎓
Some of our best educators, leaders, and staff members have something special in common—they're Dooly County graduates who chose to come back home to serve.
They walked our halls as students. Now they're shaping the future for the next generation.
**We're kicking off this initiative TODAY** by spotlighting our very first Dooly Legacy—Mrs. Ansley Scarborough! Each Friday moving forward, we'll feature another Dooly Legacy, sharing their stories, celebrating their journey, and honoring their commitment to our community.
Because when you love where you came from, you come back to make it even better. 💛
