They walked our halls as students. Now they're shaping the future for the next generation.
**This week's Dooly Legacy is Ms. Brandy Wortham**, Agriculture teacher at Dooly County K8 Academy and middle school FFA sponsor!
Ms. Wortham is a proud Dooly County graduate who came back home to connect students with the roots of our rural community. In her agriculture classroom and through FFA, she's teaching hands-on skills, leadership, responsibility, and the value of hard work—lessons that extend far beyond the barn and greenhouse.
She knows the agricultural heritage that defines Dooly County because she grew up here. Now, she's ensuring the next generation understands where their food comes from, how to steward the land, and how to lead with integrity and purpose.
Thank you, Ms. Wortham, for cultivating excellence in our students and our community! 💛

Today kicks off National Assistant Principal Week, and we could not let this moment pass without celebrating three of the absolute BEST in the business! 🎉
Our Assistant Principals work tirelessly behind the scenes and on the front lines — supporting teachers, guiding students, and keeping our schools running strong every single day. Dooly County Schools is beyond blessed to have not one, not two, but THREE outstanding leaders serving our community:

While our Bobcats enjoyed some well-earned spring break rest, two very special appreciation days passed — and we couldn't let them go unnoticed! 🌟

Our paraprofessionals provide essential support, patience, and encouragement that make a real difference in the lives of our students. We are so grateful for each of you! 💛
**April 4 was National School Librarian Appreciation Day** — a day to honor the champions of curiosity and literacy who keep our students connected to the power of reading and learning. Our library is a place of wonder because of the dedicated professional who brings it to life. Thank you! 📚
