Starting April 12th, there will be a free new sneaker giveaway at the Dooly K-8 Academy between 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. There are limited sizes.
Girls: Toddler/Child sizes: 5 thru 9 and 12 thru 13

Dear Dooly County School System Families,
Due to the potential for severe weather tomorrow, Dooly County School System will have an inclement weather day on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. Students, faculty, and staff will not report to the schools. All after-school activities are canceled tomorrow. Please follow the guidance issued in weather reports and stay safe. Thank you.

Due to inclement weather, Dooly County Schools will have early dismissal today, April 5th, at 1:30 pm. Car riders need to be picked up at that time. Buses will depart the schools to take students home at 1:30 pm. Please be careful and follow guidance from weather reports as provided.

Please be advised that the Annual Title 1 Stakeholders' Input Meeting for the Dooly K-8 Academy has been moved from Tuesday, April 5th to Thursday, April 14th. This is for both the 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. meetings. Thank you!

The DCK8 HIT afterschool program and the DCK8 GMAS afterschool program have both been cancelled for today, March 23, 2022. Both afterschool programs will resume Thursday, March 24, 2022.


The Dooly County High School Agricultural Department will bring Farm Day to Dooly K-8 Academy on Friday, March 25th, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for grades Pre-K thru 5th.

Good afternoon, The Hit program for Dooly K-8 has been canceled for today, Thursday, March 17th. It will resume next week. Thank you.

Please register for the Family Stem night scheduled for March 24th at 6 p.m. by clicking on the link under News on the school website or the district home page. This event will be held at the Dooly K-8 gym. Transportation will be provided if you register no later than March 22nd.
