📚 MONDAY - “POP” Back into Learning
Free lollipops for ALL students who attend school!
🏈 TUESDAY - “Team” Up for Learning
Show your school spirit! Wear your favorite jersey to represent your team.
🧡 WEDNESDAY - “Orange” You Glad We Are Kind!
Wear ORANGE to recognize Bullying Prevention Month and spread kindness.
📖 THURSDAY - Read Aloud Day
Special guests will visit classrooms to “Drop Everything and READ!”
💗 FRIDAY - Pink Out
Wear PINK for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Let’s make this week amazing! Every day counts, and we can’t wait to see everyone here! 🎉

We're having a mandatory parent meeting for BOTH Boys and Girls Basketball teams.

We're excited to announce that DCK8 will be offering Saturday School for students in grades 3-8, with a tentative start date of Saturday, October 25, 2025.
📋 Information letters were sent home yesterday in Wednesday couriers and with students. If you're interested in having your child participate, please return the form by Friday, October 3, 2025.

Mark your calendars! Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, October 3rd following early dismissal.
🕐 Students will be dismissed early on October 3rd at 11:45 AM
🤝 Conference times will be scheduled throughout the afternoon
These conferences are a valuable opportunity to discuss your child's academic progress, goals, and any questions you may have about their school experience.

The Dooly County School System will dismiss early on Thursday, September 18, 2025 to prepare for the Homecoming Parade at 4:00 PM in Vienna. Dooly County High School and Dooly K-8 Academy will dismiss students at 2:00 PM. Car riders will pick up in their usual locations. Thank you for helping dismissal to run smoothly by being on time for pickup. Happy Homecoming!
