Testing season is here, and our Bobcats are ready to shine! 🐾✨ Please review the schedule below and help us ensure a smooth and successful testing experience for all students.

🗓 GMAS Testing Dates:
• April 21–23: ELA (Grades 3–8)
• April 28–29: Math (Grades 3–8)

⚠️ School Closure – Monday, March 16, 2026 ⚠️ After consulting with the Dooly County Emergency Management Agency and other local authorities, and out of an abundance of caution, Dooly County Schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, March 16, 2026, due to the potential for severe weather. A strong storm system is projected to arrive in our area around 5:00 a.m. and is expected to clear the area around noon. The current forecast calls for widespread damaging winds with gusts of 60–70 mph, along with the possibility of tornadoes and large hail. Temperatures will drop significantly after the front moves through, so families should plan for freezing temperatures on Tuesday morning and ensure students are dressed appropriately. The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority. Therefore, all schools will be closed and all athletic and extracurricular activities are canceled for Monday, March 16, 2026. We encourage everyone to stay weather-aware and take necessary precautions. Any additional updates will be shared through our official district communication channels.

If any schedule changes become necessary, Dooly County Schools will communicate directly with families through our official district channels, social media, and local media partners. Families are encouraged to stay weather-aware by following updates from the Dooly County Emergency Management Agency and local news stations. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority.

I hope everyone remained safe during the severe weather that moved through our area earlier today. Thankfully, conditions appear to have settled.
