Dear Dooly County School System Families and Staff,
Due to the potential for severe weather and out of an abundance of caution, the Dooly County School System is implementing the following measures:
1. The Dooly County School System will be closed on Thursday and Friday, September 26-27, 2024.
2. Students, faculty, and staff should not report to schools on these days.
3. All after-school activities are canceled.
4. The Dooly County High School football game has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 12:00 PM in Vienna, GA.
We urge everyone to follow guidance issued by local weather reports and prioritize safety during this time.

Today, Dooly County High School honored Hispanic Heritage Month with a tribute to iconic Latina artist Selena Quintanilla. Students celebrated her enduring musical legacy and cultural impact.

Day 3 of Hispanic Heritage Month at Dooly County High School was a hit as students, faculty, and staff embraced Tejano Day! Our halls were filled with cowboy hats, boots, and the vibrant spirit of Texas-Mexican culture.
From the music to the outfits, we celebrated the rich heritage of Tejano culture and its important place in American history. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make today special.
