Greetings, Due to the inclement weather today, we are dismissing all Dooly County Schools Summer Programs at 1:30 p.m. Due to inclement weather predicted for June 15th, we will not be opened for students tomorrow. As a reminder, Dooly Schools will be closed on Monday, June 19th for the Juneteenth Federal Holiday. We will welcome students back on Tuesday, June 20th. Stay safe and listen to your local weather reports.
With the threat of potentially severe thunderstorms today, Wed., June 14th, DCSS will postpone the Book Bus scheduled for the Vienna Park and Pinehurst bus route. Updates to come.
The DCSS book bus is headed today, June 13th, to Byromville Park and on the Lilly bus route. Come on out for some great books and a cool snack!

This is a reminder of today's mandatory summer program parent and student orientation sessions for all students participating in the program. Today's session will take place Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 5:00 P.M., in person at the Dooly K-8 cafeteria. Our second session will be held tomorrow, Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 9:00 A.M. in person and with a virtual option. The virtual link can be found on the district website at www.dooly.k12.ga.us under news and live feed.

Tomorrow, May 9th, we will be having both of our Seniors Efrain Moreles & Abel Reyes sign their Letter of Intent to continue their academic/athletic career. Both will be signing to the CGTC Men’s Soccer Program. We’re extremely proud of both of our seniors.
Dooly County High School will have an Athletic Awards’ Banquet on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 6:00 PM in the DCHS Cafeteria. We will be honoring all of our student athletes from this school year.
