The Dooly County School System will observe Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month this November by honoring the legacy of Ms. Carolyn Brooks. On Thursday, November 20, 2025, we invite the entire school community to participate in 'Bobcats Wear Teal for Carolyn' Day. Ms. Brooks, our cherished former DCHS Assistant Principal and DCSS CEO CCA/CTAE Director, would have celebrated her birthday on November 27th. We encourage everyone to wear teal in remembrance of her extraordinary life and to raise awareness for ovarian cancer.

Dooly County Bobcats Football Season Finale Recap 🏈

On Friday night, the Dooly County Bobcats traveled to Hawkinsville High School for their final regular season game of the 2025-26 season. Unfortunately, the Bobcats fell 33-14 to the Red Devils.

With the season now at an end, we reflect on a year of growth, resilience, and improvement. Congratulations to our senior Bobcats for their hard work, leadership, and dedication over the past four years — once a Bobcat, always a Bobcat!

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our fans, families, and supporters. Whether you contributed to fundraisers, filled the home stands, traveled the long roads to away games, or cheered loudly every Friday night — we appreciate you! Your support means everything.

Thank You Coach Alexander and your staff for all your hard work in your very first season. We have improved greatly from game one. Let’s continue to build, grow, and come back even bigger and better next season.
Until then… DOOOOOOOOOOOOOLY! 🐾❤️💪

On Friday, Dooly County High School celebrated its First Quarter PBIS Rewards Recognition Celebration! Students who earned enough points by consistently demonstrating the 3 B’s — Be Responsible, Be Respectful, and Be Safe — were rewarded with a day of fun and recognition.

Students enjoyed a variety of activities, including a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, soccer games, and a Gaming Room featuring X-Box, Atari, and PlayStation consoles. Others spent time at game tables playing UNO, Spades, Dominoes, and Checkers, or simply hanging out and socializing with friends while enjoying great music from the DJ, Wing Stop wings, and Little Caesars Pizza concessions.

The purpose of PBIS Rewards is to reinforce and encourage positive behaviors among students, helping to create a positive and predictable school environment. Recognizing students for meeting behavioral expectations not only decreases negative behaviors but also promotes a culture of respect, responsibility, and academic excellence.

Through PBIS, Dooly County High continues to build strong relationships between students and staff, while celebrating the importance of positive behavior and school pride. 🐾
