It’s Senior Night in “The Grove”! Tonight, we celebrate our 2025-26 Bobcat Seniors in their final regular season home game!

Join us as we honor the hard work, dedication, and leadership of our outstanding senior Varsity Football Players, Lady Bobcat Flag Football Team Members, Cheerleaders, Band Members, and Dance Line.

📍 Parent/Participant Check-In: Please report to the entrance of the track with 10 minutes remaining in the 2nd quarter to prepare for the senior walkout.

Dooly County School Athletics Weekly Schedule

Dooly County Narrowly Falls to Treutlen in Hard-Fought Battle

Dooly County made up a huge gap compared to their previous matchup with Treutlen but still came up just short on Friday night. The Bobcats fell to the Vikings by a close score of 15-13 in a game that went down to the wire.

The Bobcats turned in one of their best performances of the season against a Treutlen squad that currently sits atop the region standings. The contest remained tight throughout, and Dooly County had a chance to tie and send the game into overtime, but their two-point conversion attempt came up just short.

Quarterback Jaiden Sanders, making his first start of the season, led the way for the Bobcats. He threw for 82 yards and one touchdown, while also pacing the team on the ground with 42 rushing yards. Braxton Gaston made a big impact as well, catching a touchdown pass and returning a blocked punt for another score. On defense, Seven Sutton and Jayquan Burke anchored the effort with seven tackles each.

The loss drops Dooly County to 1-6 on the season, but the team showed significant progress and fight in this matchup.

Next up, the Bobcats return home for Senior Night as they host Telfair County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans’ defense has struggled this season—allowing an average of 25.7 points per game—so fans could be in for an exciting offensive showcase from the Bobcats under the home lights.
