November is Family Engagement Month in Georgia. The Governor and State School Superintendent of Georgia celebrate our parents this month. Here are excerpts from the attached letter. "Parents are our children's first and most important teachers. When families are actively engaged in their child's education, students have higher grades, better attendance, and greater self-confidence. This month, connect with your child's teachers, engage in their learning, and explore opportunities for involvement in the local school community. Thank you, Georgia families, for all you do, not only this month but throughout the year, to support your child's educational journey." https://www.gadoe.org/School-Improvement/Federal-Programs/Partnerships/Pages/Family_Engagement_Month.aspx
