This year’s Read Week theme is “Explore New Worlds Through Reading” — and who better to help us dive into new adventures than Bluey! 🌍✨
Bluey stopped by DCHS to talk with our students about how books can take us anywhere: from magical lands to real-life journeys of discovery. Just like Bluey uses imagination to explore the world around her, our students can use reading to open doors to endless possibilities. 🚀📖
At DCHS, we’re celebrating the joy of reading and reminding everyone that every book is a chance to explore, dream, and grow. 💡💫

🏈 Game Recap: Dooly County Bobcats vs. Worth County Rams
Date: Friday, August 29, 2025
Location: Sylvester, GA
Our Dooly County Bobcats hit the road once again for their third straight away game, taking on the Worth County Rams in a tough matchup. Despite the final score, our boys battled with heart and grit, forcing two Worth County turnovers and making several big offensive plays.
Throughout the game, the Bobcats showed resilience and determination, never backing down and continuing to compete hard until the final whistle. Unfortunately, the scoreboard didn’t reflect their effort, as the Rams secured a 53-0 win.
While the outcome wasn’t what we hoped for, we’re proud of the fight our Bobcats displayed on the field. This team is growing stronger each week.
Now, it's time to reset. The Bobcats have a bye week ahead, giving them extra time to prepare and recover before their next matchup.
🙏 A HUGE Thank You to Bobcat Nation!
To our amazing fans, students, staff, cheerleaders, and band—thank you for making the trip to Sylvester. Your energy, encouragement, and pride in our team did not go unnoticed. YOU make Bobcat Nation strong!
