Class of 2024 Senior Breakfast this Week!
Students thanked their parents! Parents and students thanked the teachers and administrators! The 2024 Senior Breakfast was a celebration of the village....of family....of the Dooly family! Alex Haley once said, "in every conceivable manner, the family is link to our past, bridge to our future."
There was a lot of Bobcat Pride at the Senior Breakfast!! Many adults in the room had also attended and graduated from Doooooly!
So yes, we are flooding your timeline today with all things Class of 2024!! Enjoy scenes from this week's Senior Breakfast, where our scholars and their family members had an intimate time to stop, reflect, celebrate and process all that they have accomplished together! The DCHS Golden Sound of the South "Fun Day in the Park" is still ongoing at Downtown Vienna City Park next to the courthouse. You still have time to purchase hot fish and hot dogs. Donations are also welcome.

As we end the school year today, we celebrate student achievement and success for all!
Over the last two weeks, we have been honoring our students and their accomplishments.
We are so proud of all of you and the growth you have made this year!! Today, we will reflect on our mission of educational excellence for all students!! We begin with the Bobcat Class of 2024 and their Award Ceremony.
Update: 21st CCLC Summer Program has the following openings for the UPCOMING grade levels. 6th grade - 2, 7th grade - 4, 9th grade - 5, 11th grade - 3, and 12th grade - 5.

The Senior Awards Ceremony will be held on Wed., May 22nd at 6 PM in the high school gym.
The DCHS will be celebrating our Honor Roll students Friday at 9:00 AM in the gymnasium. Please come out and celebrate our 4th marking period scholars.
The Dooly County High School Golden Sound of the South marching band invites the community to their "Fun Day in the Park" event on Friday, May 24, 2024, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
Kicking off the festivities at 1:00pm, the Golden Sound of the South will showcase their talents with an energetic performance that is sure to entertain audiences of all ages. Throughout the event, a variety of concessions will be available for purchase, including fish, hot dogs, fries, candy, snacks, and refreshing drinks.
Don't miss this exciting community celebration hosted by the Dooly County High School marching band!
The STEM Bus Tour is coming to you this summer from 2:30-4 p.m. for all school-aged students on June 12th @ Dooly Rec. Dept., Vienna and July 12th @ Jewell Bowens Park, Unadilla. The event hi-lights are STEM activities, Make & Take activities and a Book Giveaway!
FYI: The Summer Bridge Program at DCHS will run from June 3rd-June 27th, Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m. The application deadline is May 24th. The program is for incoming freshmen to get a jump start on their academic success at the high school. You may call the high school at 229.268.8181 to register or use the QR code on the flyer.

The "Golden Sound of the South Fun Day in the Park" has been rescheduled due to inclement weather. This event will now take place on Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Vienna City Park (downtown next to courthouse).
Congratulations to Akeem Williams who earned a 6th place medal in the State Track Meet in the high jump category!
