We are excited to encourage all of our families to connect through PBIS Rewards Family Link! This tool provides real-time, two-way communication between home and school, helping families stay informed about their child's academic progress, behavior, and overall well-being.

Family Link is another way we can strengthen the partnership between home and school while supporting student success.
Family Link letters have been sent home with students. Please take a few minutes to connect and become part of the DCHS Family Link network.

Together, we can ensure that every student has the support they need to thrive. Thank you for partnering with us and for being an important part of the Dooly County High School family!

🎓🐾 Attention DCHS Seniors! 🐾🎓

Please see the attached flyers for Senior Friday, featuring Senior Sunrise and Senior Parking Spot Painting!

For $10, seniors may paint a parking space whether they drive or not. Students are responsible for providing their own supplies, and all designs must be approved by Thursday. Painting may not take place during the school day on Friday, but students may paint their spaces Friday after school, Saturday, or Sunday alongside their classmates.

Senior Sunrise will begin at 6:00 AM. Seniors are encouraged to help plan activities for the event. Please register as soon as possible so we can get an accurate headcount.

A special thank you to Cherish Sutton for spearheading this effort and to Mrs. Shatarra Lundy for coordinating the day. We appreciate your ideas and enthusiasm as we work together to make the senior year for the Class of 2027 memorable.

Let's show our Bobcat Pride and make Dooly County High School look great! #BobcatPride #DCHS #ClassOf2027 #SeniorYear #AllIn

DCHS SPOTLIGHT | FEATURED BY GEORGIA TECH! 🐝

We are excited to celebrate Dooly County High School’s very own Professor Juone Brown, who was featured by Georgia Tech for her participation in an immersive advanced manufacturing experience! 🎉👏

Through Georgia Tech’s Advanced Manufacturing Pathways (AMP) Program, Professor Brown gained hands-on experience with modern manufacturing equipment and explored ways to connect computer science, artificial intelligence, mathematics, manufacturing, and real-world career opportunities for our students.

Professor Brown continues to demonstrate what it means to be a lifelong learner—taking what she learns beyond the classroom and bringing new experiences, exposure, and opportunities directly back to our Bobcats! 🐾

At DCHS, we are committed to preparing students for college, career, and life, and partnerships and experiences like these help our students see that the skills they are developing today can open doors to high-demand careers tomorrow.

We are proud of you, Professor Brown, and proud to see Dooly County High School represented by Georgia Tech!

Strong Growth. Forward Momentum.
Dooly County students are making meaningful academic progress, and mathematics is leading the way! 📈
The 2026 Georgia Milestones results show improvement across our district. Of the 12 End-of-Grade and End-of-Course assessments currently available, seven improved at Developing Learner or above, and eight improved at Proficient Learner or above.
Our strongest gains came in mathematics. We also saw positive momentum in Biology, Algebra, fifth-grade science, and eighth-grade Social Studies.
These gains reflect the hard work of our students and the dedication of our teachers, school leaders, instructional support staff, families, community partners, and Board of Education. We are proud of this progress, but our work continues. During the 2026-2027 school year, we will build on this momentum while providing targeted support in third-grade mathematics, eighth-grade science, and U.S. History.
Every percentage represents students who are growing, gaining skills, and moving closer to proficiency. Let’s celebrate their progress and continue working together to ensure every student reaches their highest aspirations.
Strong Growth. Forward Momentum. Moving “the Dooly Way” Forward! ❤️💛
