Farmers to Families Food Box Program

The Dooly K-8 Academy will host a ZOOM STEM Parent Night for Grades K-8 on Monday afternoon, March 22, beginning at 6:00 p.m. STEM PACKETS for the meeting are available for pick-up today beginning at 2:00 p.m. thru Monday, March 22, until 5:30 p.m. for virtual students only. Face-to-face students will receive their packets on Monday to take home.
Dear Dooly County School System Families,
Due to potentially dangerous weather in our area scheduled for Thursday morning, March 18, 2021, all DCSS students will work at home virtually tomorrow. Students are expected to return to school on Friday, March 19th if weather permits. All faculty and staff are asked to report to their work locations at 10:00 am on March 18th if weather conditions allow them to travel safely.

The March 22, 2021 Title I Parent/Family Engagement meeting will be held virtually using the Zoom platform. The topic for this month is the STEM program with Dooly K-8. Please register on the Dooly County District website for the link.
​The DCSS School Board is holding their monthly meeting on Thursday, March 18th at 6 p.m. We will follow guidelines provided by the CDC in holding the meeting. The Media will be allowed to cover the meeting live. The public is encouraged to view the meeting via Facebook Live from the Dooly Schools Facebook page. DCHS Girls Basketball
The Dooly County High School girls' basketball team will host a home Region 4 Tournament game on Friday February 19th at 6:00 pm. The girls will play the Patriots of Wilcox County. This will be a single header game, with admissions set at $7.00. Capacity has been increased to 300 spectators for the playoffs. Of the 300 tickets, 50 will be given to Wilcox to sell. Parents will have the option of purchasing tickets in advance. Remaining tickets will be sold at the door on a first come first serve basis. In order to attend, mask/ facial covering must be worn. Temperatures will be checked upon entrance. If you have a temperature of 100.4 degrees, please do not attend. Once capacity is reached, no GHSA Passes will be accepted.

On Wednesday February 24th at 6:00 pm, the Bobcats will welcome the Mitchell County Eagles to Vienna for the 1st Round of the GHSA State Playoffs. Tickets for this game will be sold at the door on a first come first serve basis. Admission is $7.00 for this single header. Capacity for this game will be set at 300 spectators. Parents will have the option to purchase tickets in advance. We will send an allotted number of tickets to Mitchell County for them to sell. Remaining tickets will be sold at the door on a first come first serve basis. All spectators must wear a mask while in attendance. Temperatures will be checked upon entrance.
