Dear Members of our Dooly County Schools Community,

As we strive to create a supportive learning environment for our students, I am pleased to share some insights into the invaluable services offered by our Student Services Department of Dooly County Schools.

Our Student Services Department is composed of a dedicated team of educational professionals, including school counselors, social workers, mental health partnerships, MTSS Coordinator, Exceptional Children staff, and a partnership with Communities in Schools. Together, we work to provide comprehensive support tailored to meet the diverse emotional, physical, developmental, behavioral, social, and instructional needs of our student population to ensure their overall well-being. We understand that students may encounter various challenges throughout their educational journey that may impede their academic success, and it is our mission to identify and proactively address these challenges, providing preventive care and support to remove barriers hindering our students' progress.

Through a collaborative approach involving schools, parents, and community partners, we strive to create positive school climates that foster an environment where students can thrive academically and personally. Together, we can build an inclusive environment where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. I encourage you to join us in this endeavor by staying engaged with your child's school, participating in school events, and advocating for the resources and support needed to foster a positive learning environment for all students.

Thank you for your support. I look forward to working in partnership with you to ensure every student’s success.
