Dooly County School System proudly announces that Ms. Minnie Harper has been awarded the Chattahoochee-Flint RESA Champion for Education Award.   The Chattahoochee-Flint RESA Champion for Education program recognizes outstanding individuals in each community who go above and beyond the norm to assist and promote local schools and other educational agencies.  Ms. Minnie Harper is one of those individuals indeed with over 51 years of service in education upon retirement.  Having served as a teacher and coach, Ms. Harper received perfect attendance for 13 years and only missed 95 days of the 9, 180 days of work during her time of service.  Even in retirement, Ms. Minnie Harper continues to serve the Dooly County School System, it's students and families and the community as a member and chair of the school board and a member of the Dooly County Community Booster Club.   She believes that the children of Dooly have so much potential and deserve a quality education. She feels that it is her duty to serve and ensure that the children receive the best education possible, as well as learn and become productive citizens and leaders. She goes out of her way to make sure that they have everything they need, even if it means providing resources and transportation herself.  Congratulations to Ms. Minnie Harper, Chattahoochee-Flint RESA 2023 Champion for Education!  #ThisisDooly! #IamDooly! #WeareDooly!Minnie Harper
