We are excited to kick off our Lit Love Read Campaign over Winter Break! This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to build strong reading habits while having fun and earning prizes along the way.
Reading Dates for School-Level Prizes: February 14 – February 22 through the Campaign continues through March 6, 2026
Students are encouraged to read and log as many books as possible during the break!
Prizes Include:
A winner from each classroom and grade level
Tokens for our Bobcat Book Vending Machine
Special treats when we return from break
A monetary surprise for the top reader in DCES and DCMS
Grand Prize Opportunity:
Students who continue reading and have the most books logged by March 6 will receive a Special Grand Prize!
Let’s keep the momentum going — open a book, explore new worlds, and spread the Lit Love all break long. Every page is a journey waiting to begin!
