After returning from the GAEL Summer Conference, the Dooly County District Leadership Team hit the ground running by participating in our inaugural “Start Up” Workshop, establishing “The Dooly Way to Excellence and Equity.” For two days, July 13th and 14th, district and school-based leaders gathered to 1) continue the journey to accreditation by completing the Cognia self-assessment, and 2) to re-establish and update each other on internal processes and practices as we prepare to start another school year. Leaders utilized data to update the balanced scorecard from the strategic plan, demonstrated and understanding of Cognia standards by illustration, and engaged in a hands-on activity to mirror their unwavering commitment to growth.
