When educators and staff members are so deeply impacted by their experience in our schools that they choose to come back and give to the next generation, that commitment deserves recognition. The Dooly Legacy Initiative honors these individuals and the lasting influence of our school system.
Purpose
The Dooly Legacy Initiative aims to:
Celebrate Dooly County School System graduates who now serve our district in any role
Highlight the generational and community connections that strengthen our schools
Build a culture of loyalty, pride, and community investment
Demonstrate that Dooly County grows its own leaders
Preserve and share inspiring stories that uplift students, staff, families, and our entire community
Who is a Dooly Legacy?
A Dooly Legacy is any current Dooly County School System employee who:
Graduated from Dooly County schools, and
Returned to serve the district in any capacity—including teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians, bus drivers, cafeteria staff, administrators, secretaries, coaches, and all other roles
Every position matters. Every story inspires.
