Child Find (Identification and Services for Individuals with Disabilities)

In accordance with IDEA regulations, the Dooly County School District seeks to ensure that all disabled students (Birth to age 21), who need special education within its jurisdiction are identified, located, and evaluated. This includes students attending private schools and who are homeschooled. Final identification of students with disabilities and programming for such students occurs only after an appropriate evaluation and determination by the Multidisciplinary Placement Team.
